October 2025- Charles Akonnor- Gor Mahia

Gor Mahia’s head coach Charles Akonnor claimed the bragging rights as the inaugural recipient of the award after orchestrating a flawless response to a bumpy debut loss against Bidco United.

Akonnor engineered a perfect October campaign for K’Ogalo, registering a 100% win record with three victories from three matches.

The highlight of his month was a masterclass that dismantled fellow early title contenders KCB, which he seamlessly followed up with commanding victories over Posta Rangers and Mathare United to set the championship benchmark early.

November 2025-Peter Okidi

The honors shifted to Shabana FC in November, where Peter Okidi masterminded a remarkable turnaround from a sluggish start to the season.

Okidi guided Tore Bobe through a four-match unbeaten streak, a feat made all the more impressive because every single fixture was played away from home.

Relying on a highly disciplined defensive setup, Shabana picked up two wins and two draws, including a 1-0 away triumph over Ulinzi Stars and a resilient 0-0 draw against Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani, keeping their momentum alive even while Okidi briefly stepped away to assist with the Junior Stars national team duty in Tanzania.

December 2025-Fred Ambani – AFC Leopards

AFC Leopards closed out the calendar year at the summit of the log, earning Fred Ambani the December accolade after an unbeaten run that yielded three wins and a draw.

Ambani built his success on a rock-solid defensive foundation that conceded only a single goal and kept three clean sheets throughout the entire month.

The defining moment of his December campaign came early with a 1-0 triumph over arch-rivals Gor Mahia in a highly charged Mashemeji Derby, which Ingwe expertly leveraged into subsequent victories over Ulinzi Stars and Bidco United to deliver a perfect Christmas gift to their fans.

January 2026-Charles Akonnor- Gor Mahia

As the new year dawned, Charles Akonnor became the league’s first two-time winner by transforming Gor Mahia into an unstoppable attacking force.

Reclaiming absolute control of the title race, Akonnor’s side adopted an aggressive, high-pressing brand of football that reaped an impressive five wins and one draw from six January fixtures.

K’Ogalo completely outpaced the rest of the pack by flooding the back of the net a staggering 15 times over the month, comfortably widening the gap between themselves and the chasing pack.

February 2026-Peter Okidi- Shabana

February brought a historic and highly unusual milestone for the league as Peter Okidi reclaimed the trophy under bittersweet circumstances.

Okidi masterminded a flawless month for Shabana FC, securing four consecutive victories, scoring five goals, and keeping a perfect defensive record with zero goals conceded.

His highlights included a 1-0 win over Bandari, a 2-0 easing past Posta Rangers, and a dramatic 1-0 stoppage-time victory over Mathare United.

However, due to a sudden dip in form the following month, Okidi had already parted ways with the club by the time the February trophy was presented in March, making him the first coach in league history to receive the award while unattached.

March 2026- Fred Ambani- AFC Leopards

Fred Ambani matched his counterpart Akonnor by becoming a double recipient in March, winning the accolade through sheer resilience.

After suffering a catastrophic 4-1 humbling at the hands of Mathare United that threatened to derail their entire campaign, Ambani rallied his squad with immense character.

He implemented adjustments that sparked an immediate three-match winning streak, highlighted by a roaring 5-1 demolition of Shabana FC, ensuring that AFC Leopards kept the pressure mounting tightly on the league leaders.

April and May 2026: Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo – APS Bomet

The final stretch of the season belonged entirely to Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo, who engineered an extraordinary rescue mission with league debutants APS Bomet.

After claiming the April accolade amid deeply emotional circumstances—dedicating the award on Mother’s Day to his late wife, “Mama Denzel”—Pamzo doubled down on his tactical brilliance.

He carried that red-hot form straight into May, steering the “Law Enforcers” to a historic ten-match unbeaten streak that included seven consecutive victories.

This run was highlighted by a spectacular away win over Bandari to guarantee top-flight survival and a dramatic 2-1 triumph that dashed AFC Leopards’ title hopes and handed Gor Mahia the title.

Pamzo was deservedly awarded the final Coach of the Month award for May, which was presented in front of the whole football fraternity during the end-of-season gala at Glee hotel.
