All roads lead to Budapest as the 2025/26 football season comes to a close with an explosive UEFA Champions League final pitting PSG against Arsenal.
French champions PSG are out to become only the second side to successfully defend the Champions League title. They thrashed Inter 5-0 in last season for their maiden European crown.
Arsenal, who are fresh off ending a 22-year wait for the English Premier League title, are looking to make history by winning their first ever Champions League title.
No team has played more UCL games without lifting the trophy, after 225 matches this could be a rare chance to win a double under the tutelage of Mikel Arteta. This is Arsenal’s second appearance in a UCL final, famously losing 2-1 to Barcelona in 2006.

PSG will not be an easy task for the Gunners as they have already scored 44 goals in this season’s competition. The Parisians are only one goal shy of the all-time record in the competition in a single season.
Luis Enrique’s side are unbeaten in 11 knockout games after impressive displays against Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal on the other hand have conceded just six goals throughout the competition and kept nine clean sheets, also one shy of the record. They are also seeking to match a record of their own as one of the teams who have won the competition unbeaten.
Will PSG be able to defend their title or can Arsenal make it two trophies in two weeks here? Below is our predicted outcome for the match.

What time does PSG vs Arsenal start?
The game kicks off at 7PM E.A.T at the Puskas Arena.
PSG vs Arsenal team news
Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes were doubts in the days leading up to the match and will be assessed fully to see if they can feature on Saturday.
Willian Pacho is set to miss this one out with a slight injury, however Marquinhos remains fully fit and will be the key component of their defense.
Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz will continue their impressive partnership in midfield, with Desire Doue on the right flank. Kvicha Kvaratshkelia is the first player to score or assist in seven consecutive UCL games in a single season and will start as well.
Frenchman Ousmane Dembele will lead the attacking line for Enrique’s side.

For Arsenal, Jurrien Timber and Noni Madueke are the only main injury concerns ahead of the game as they look to field their strongest XI.
William Saliba and Gabriel Maghalaes are the trusted pair in the back line, with Fernando Mosquera expected to start if Timber cannot be cleared.
Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard are the likely pair to start on the flanks, with Viktor Gyokeres leading the line from the front. The rest of the side is set to remain unchanged from the XI that started in the semifinal victory against Atletico Madrid.

PSG vs Arsenal prediction
With this being a final, we can expect both sides to throw everything they have at it. Both sets of attackers have shown their proficiency and speed on the counter, and this could be a key aspect to this game.
Arsenal have been solid defensively but PSG do not have a problem with scoring as many goals as required. The Parisians’ experience in the competition may give them an edge here.
