Harambee Starlets midfielder Mwanahalima Adam Jereko added a historic piece of European silverware to her cabinet on Saturday May 16, anchoring HB Køge Women to a 4-1 victory over arch-rivals FC Nordsjælland to lift the 2026 Danish Women’s Cup-KvindePokalen.

The triumph marks a monumental milestone for the club, securing HB Køge’s first-ever domestic cup title in their history.

The Harambee Starlets vice captain started the match as American forward Macy Schultz opened the scores slotting home to set the tone in the first half.

Schultz would go on to complete a brilliant brace on the day, with strikes from Sarah Thygesen and Mai Bøge Wendicke rounding out the dominant 4-1 scoreline.

Nordsjælland, appearing in their fourth consecutive cup final, simply had no answers for HB Køge leaving them to settle for the runners-up medal for the second straight year

The cup final victory continues a stellar stretch of form for Jereko. She recently returned to Denmark following a standout international deployment at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, where she similarly operated as a deep-lying playmaker for the Harambee Starlets during the FIFA Series tournament against India and Australia.

Dogo initially arrived in Denmark on July 18, 2025, securing a high-profile loan agreement from NWSL powerhouse Kansas City Current just ahead of the 2025–26 Kvindeligaen campaign.

On November 13, 2025, the Danish club officially made her transfer permanent by signing the star player to a lucrative two-year contract that securely ties her to the club through the end of the 2027 season.
