A chance to salvage their season with a trophy presents itself to Lazio as they prepare to battle it out against Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday night.
This game comes a few days after Inter thrashed Lazio 3-0 in a Serie A encounter, after already being crowned 2025/26 Serie A champions.
Lazio will have a slight advantage with the final hosted at their home ground in Rome. This is the first time Lazio are in the Coppa Italia final since winning the trophy in 2019.
Inter have also not featured in the final since back to back title wins in 2022 and 2023. Christian Chivu is looking to win the domestic double during his first season in charge.

Danilo Cataldi and Mattia Zaccagni are also expected to be available for Lazio after recovering from injuries.
The rest of the side is expected to remain the same as the weekend defeat, with Alessandro Romagnoli commanding the ship from the back.
The visiting Inter remain without the instrumental Hakan Calhanoglu but they seem to have found their footing without him. Nicolo Barella, Piotr Zielinski and Luka Sucic will control the midfield.
They are expected to adopt a 4-4-2 formation with lethal forwards Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram starting up front.
