The end of the 2025/26 English Premier League season draws ever so close as we enter an action-packed round 34 this weekend.
There are seven games scheduled to be played over the course of the weekend, this is due to the FA Cup semis also being played.
Arsenal have the chance to reclaim top spot when they host Newcastle on Saturday, with the new league leaders Manchester City not in action until next weekend.
Wolves and Burnley’s relegation to the Championship next season has already been confirmed, with Tottenham currently occupying the final relegation spot on the table.
The action begins on Friday night as the Black Cats of Sunderland host Nottingham, with the latter looking to move further away from the dreaded drop zone.

Here we have a look at some of the top games lined up for the weekend and offer our predicted outcome.
Betis vs Real Madrid La Liga prediction: Match preview, team news, current form & h2h
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – Saturday, 5PM
Liverpool continue their quest to secure a top five finish in the Premier League with a home match against Palace. They are currently in fifth place with 55 points, three less than Aston Villa in fourth.
The reds snapped a horrid run to register back-to-back league wins against Fulham, before beating eternal rivals Everton 2-1 in the Merseyside derby.
Palace are in 13th with 43 points, albeit just seven adrift of the European spots. They come into the game on the back of a four-game unbeaten run in the league, most recently a barren draw against West Ham on Monday.
Palace will be full of confidence having beaten Liverpool the last three times they have faced them. They knocked the reds out of the EFL Cup after beating them 2-1 in the reverse fixture.

West Ham vs Everton – Saturday, 5PM
The Hammers are coming off a barren draw against Palace as they continue to find a way to avoid relegation at the end of the season. They now sit in 17th place with 33 points, two away from the drop zone.

They face a 10th place Everton who are without a win in their last two matches, but can still dream of a place in Europe next season with a win here.
West Ham have not lost to Everton in any of the last five matches played against them, giving them a confidence boost ahead of this crucial test. The reverse fixture last September resulted in a 1-1 draw.
The Hammers have won two of the last five head-to-head matches against Everton, with the remaining three resulting in a draw.

Tusker vs Mara Sugar prediction: SportPesa League match preview, current form & h2h
Wolves vs Tottenham – Saturday, 5PM
With only pride left to play for after their relegation was confirmed, Wolves have nothing to lose and are expected to be a stubborn side to beat.
They host a Tottenham side who are having one of the worst seasons in the clubs’ history, needing a win here to keep their hopes of survival alive. They are in 18th place with 31 points from 33 games.

Spurs are yet to win a league game this year, failing to win in any of their last 15 games. The worst record in the Premier League.
It also does not help that Wolves have beaten Spurs three times in their last five head-to-head matches.

Arsenal vs Newcastle – Saturday, 7:30PM
The Gunners are desperate to reclaim top spot in the league after surrendering a 12-point gap at one point to be level with Man City. They just need to avoid defeat and they will temporarily take back first place as they seek a first league title since 2004.
The only thing separating the top two teams is the number of goals scored, making this the most exciting Premier League title chase we have witnessed in years.
They face a struggling Newcastle side who have lost all four games prior to this one. The defeats were to much lighter opposition than Arsenal, making this an uphill battle for the Magpies.
There has not been a draw between these sides in the last five matches and we are not expecting one here. With what is at stake, Mikel Arteta’s side is the favorite to bag all three points here.
