APS Bomet will be out for redemption when they face a resurgent Ulinzi Stars at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in a crucial SportPesa League clash scheduled for 1PM (EAT).
The fixture comes with added motivation for the visitors, who lost the reverse fixture 1-0 at home their first-ever top-flight meeting against the Soldiers courtesy of a strike from Paul Okoth.
That result still lingers for APS Bomet and with their survival hopes hanging in the balance, they will view this as a perfect opportunity to settle scores while boosting their fight against relegation. However, the task ahead is far from straightforward.

Ulinzi Stars head into the encounter with renewed confidence, having bounced back strongly from a difficult patch.
After suffering back-to-back defeats, the soldiers have responded with two consecutive wins, including a convincing 2-0 victory over Sofapaka in their most recent outing.
That upturn in form under interim head coach Hassan Rio has lifted them to 14th place on the table with 25 points, just three points above the relegation zone.
The hosts have managed six wins, seven draws, and 13 losses so far this season, scoring 24 goals while conceding 30. While their position is still precarious, the recent results suggest a side beginning to rediscover its rhythm at a critical stage of the campaign.
For APS Bomet, the situation is even more urgent. The Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo coached side are currently 16th on the table with 22 points, firmly in the relegation zone.
A win could potentially lift them out of danger, making this clash a must-win encounter. Their recent form, however, paints a concerning picture.
They are winless in their last five matches, having drawn three and lost two. Their latest result a goalless draw against Nairobi United highlighted both their defensive resilience and attacking struggles.
So far this season, APS Bomet have scored 24 goals and conceded 33, with four wins, ten draws, and 12 losses to their name. Their inability to convert draws into victories has significantly dented their survival push.
With both sides desperate to steer clear of the drop zone, this fixture promises to be a tense and hard-fought battle, where fine margins could make all the difference.
SportPesa League: Kakamega Homeboyz host Mathare United
Elsewhere, attention shifts to Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega, where Kakamega Homeboyz will host Mathare United from 2PM (EAT).
The hosts have enjoyed a solid campaign and currently sit fifth on the table with 38 points, just four points shy of third place. Their impressive home form, marked by only one defeat, makes them favorites heading into the clash.
Mathare United, on the other hand, are 13th with 30 points and relatively safe from immediate relegation danger.

They will, however, be keen to maintain their positive momentum that saw the Slum Boys demolish Afc Leopards 4-1 at Nyayo Stadium and now they will be seeking to transition such big wins from March into April.
Midfielder Harrison Amalemba, a mid-season signing for Mathare United who previously trained with Kakamega Homeboyz, is optimistic about his side’s chances.
“We have to play our football, keep the ball on the ground, and avoid getting drawn into their physical style of play. That will give us a better chance of securing all three points. We are going for maximum points,” he said.
