Kenya Police FC will host Tusker FC at the Police Sacco Stadium on Friday afternoon in a Round 27 fixture, with kickoff scheduled for 4:15pm EAT.
With the title realistically out of reach, the defending champions are looking to maintain their momentum and secure a top-five finish, while the brewers arrive with the ambition of climbing the log and avenging their first-leg defeat to the Law Enforcers.
For the hosts, Kenya Police FC occupy fifth place with 40 points from 25 matches. The team has shown remarkable defensive discipline this season, conceding only 17 goals, the best record in the league.

Under the leadership of Nicholas Muyoti, the Law Enforcers have become a difficult unit to break down, though they will be under pressure to convert more of their recent draws into three points to keep pace with the top four.
Tusker FC, currently sitting in ninth place with 37 points, arrive at the Sacco Stadium seeking consistency after a season of mixed results.
The Brewers are led by Frenchman Julien Mette, who took over earlier this year and is tasked with restoring the club’s status as a title contender.
Mette has emphasized the need for clinical finishing following a narrow 1-0 loss to AFC Leopards last time out noting that his side must take their chances if they are to overcome the league’s meanest defense.
Coach Perspective
Nicholas Muyoti – Kenya Police
The former Kenyan International has challenged his players to build a fighting spirit to overturn the mixed results.
“I think we had players who did not have the character and fighting spirit in them, but this is what I must impart in the player because that is me. I am a fighter, and as a coach, if they do not have it, I must instill it.
To get back to our level, we need to up our character and spirit. Police is not a small team; they have been champions before. My players just need to keep focus and get what I am instilling in them,”he opined.
On his part, Frenchman Julien Mette says they have used the two week break to sharpen their attack.
“As always I work on improvement from the last game, and the improvement from the last game is finishing,ā Mette said.
āLeopards had eight shots and we had eight shots , same amount of shots but they scored and we didn’t. So we have to improve the finishing and focus because the goal we conceded was two seconds late of positional and closing down was a little late. So focus on those little details. It was a tough game and a very good team, so against a very good team details make the difference,ā he added.
Head-to-Head and Form
Kenya Police FC secured a 2-1 victory over Tusker FC in the first-leg encounter held in November 2025. Historically, this fixture has been closely contested, with neither side able to establish a dominant winning streak in recent years.
The two teams have met a total of nine teams in the league with Tusker securing four wins, Police have won twice while three matches have ended in draws.
Recent Form
- Kenya Police FC: W-L-W-W-D (10 points from last 15)
- Tusker FC: L-W-W-W-L (9 points from last 15)
Victory for Kenya Police will move them to 43 points, drawing them level with third-placed Shabana on the log, while a win for Tusker FC will see them climb to 40 points, moving into a potential tie for fifth position depending on results elsewhere.
