After a brief English Premier League break, league leaders Arsenal resume domestic duty against Everton on Saturday at the Emirates.
Arsenal squeezed past Mansfield into the FA Cup quarters with a 2-1 win, before being held to a 1-1 draw away at Leverkusen in the first leg of their Champions League knockout clash.
Mikel Arteta’s side maintain a seven-point lead at the top of the table, but have played one game more than their closest challengers Manchester City. They have the chance to go 10 points clear before City player later on.
They host an Everton side who are in eighth place with 43 points after impressive back-to-back league victories. A third successive win here would be the first time Everton have managed that in the league since the end of last season.

Arsenal vs Everton team news
Gyokeres remains Arsenals top scorer this season with 10 goals and despite a recent drought, the forward is expected to start here with Gabriel Jesus settling for a place on the bench.
Eberechi Eze came off the bench to score the winner against Mansfield and this should be enough to warrant a place in the starting XI, with Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard remaining sidelined through injury.
It will be interesting to see whetherBukayo Saka retains his starting position after recent lackluster performances. The rest of the side will remain unchanged from the side that started their last league game against Brighton.
As for Everton, there are no new injury concerns ahead of the clash and are expected to name a similar starting XI to the side that beat Burnley in their last outing.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye have been the standout performers in recent weeks and will lead the attacking line here.

Arsenal vs Everton head-to-head and current form
The Gunners have the best home record in the league, unbeaten in their last 13 games at the Emirates. They have four wins and one draw in their recent run of five games.
Everton on the other hand have won thrice in that run, losing twice to Bournemouth and Manchester United.
Two of the last five matches between these two sides have resulted in a draw – with that also being a possibility here.

Arsenal vs Everton prediction
No side has scored more goals than Arsenal this season and no side has conceded fewer goals than the Gunners. This sets this up to be a game filled with attacking threat for both sides – with the hosts tipped to score at least once in the game.
A defeat is not likely but with the form Everton are on, a draw is not too far-fetched.
