Gor Mahia complete epic comeback against Murang’a Seal
The first half was a nightmare for the hosts as Murang’a Seal silenced the Kasarani crowd with a clinical display of counter-attacking football.
The visitors took the lead early on when Joe Waithira pounced on a second ball that Gor failed to deal with after a freekick, slotting in the bottom left corner for his eighth goal of the season.
Things went from bad to worse for Gor in the 18th minute when a lapse in concentration allowed SEAL to double their lead following a beautiful counterattack started by Telvin Maina and completed by young striker Francis Memusi who looped the ball over Gad Mathews to double the lead heading into the break

At halftime K’Ogalo made two changes bringing on Morrison and Ebenezer Adukwaw and the pressure would pay dividends minutes in when K’Ogalo halved the deficit after a costly mistake from Mustapha Oduor who mishandled the ball for Felix Olouch to steer it in.
Things would turn from bad to worse for SEAL as the equalizer came as fast as the first goal for Gor Mahia.
Paul Ochuoga netted the equalizer for Gor from a ferocious shot that was deflected by Munyovi into his own net.
A drive from the flank by Shariff Musa to Ochuoga in the 82nd minute was what nailed Murang’a SEAL after a defensive lapse from the low pass driven in by Ochuoga met Ebenezer Assifuah who scored on his debut.

The 3-2 scoreline ends Murang’a SEAL’s 10-match unbeaten run.
It also marks the first time this season that K’Ogalo have secured points from a losing position.
