Shabana FC extended their unbeaten run away from home in the 2025/26 SportPesa League season to seven matches with a statement 3-1 win over KCB at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, in Saturday’s early kickoff.
The Glamour Boys goals were scored by Kevin Omundi, Ezekiah Omuri, and Humphrey Obina, while Kelvin Etemesi netted the Bankers’ consolation.
On the day he was named the SportPesa League Coach of the Month for November, Shabana head coach Peter Okidi made two changes to the squad that held Mara Sugar to a goalless draw at home, replacing Douglas Mokaya and Victor Omondi with Ezekiah Omuri and David Odoyo.

On his part, The Lion, Robert Matano brought in Matthias Isogol in place of the injured Jack Onganya, and Josphat Andafu for Nashon Wekesa.
The away team was the first to find the back of the net just fourteen minutes in. Humphrey Obina’s low free-kick was touched by Wycliffe Omondi before Arnold Monzobo’s save fell into the path of Kevin Omundi, who slotted home to break the deadlock.
The provider turned scorer ten minutes later, calmly netting from a direct free-kick to double Shabana’s lead.

The Bankers’ manager, Robert Matano, responded almost immediately with a double substitution: Richard Omondi and Matthias Isogol paved the way for Rodgers Oporia and Humphrey Mieno, respectively.
The substitution almost paid off immediately as Mieno’s floating cross was miscued by Wycliffe Omondi, forcing the Glamour Boys’ goalkeeper, Stephen Ochieng’, into a save.
The hosts’ best effort of the half came from Etemesi after being teed up by Etyang, but his shot was beautifully saved by Ochieng’.
The danger man scored just three minutes after the restart, continuing his impressive form by netting in consecutive matches.
Etemesi picked up the ball just outside the danger area before unleashing a ferocious shot that deflected past Ochieng’ to halve the deficit.
Shabana then made two changes ten minutes into the second half, replacing Erick Otieno and David Odoyo with Austin Odongo and Bronson Nsubuga, respectively.
Seconds later, James Mazembe hit a thunderbolt that struck the underside of the crossbar before hitting Monzobo and heading out for a corner.
Kenya U-20 star Ezekiah Omuri eventually sealed the win for Tore Bobe after beating the offside trap and high line to net his third of the season, with the match ending in a 3-1 defeat for KCB.
Victory for the Glamour Boys means they have now won three consecutive fixtures against the Bankers.
For KCB, it is a case of a porous defense, having conceded five goals in their last two matches.
Tore Bobe climb to third on the table in their final match of the year, awaiting results from the remaining fixtures on Sunday and Monday.
