Eliud Kipchoge, considered as the greatest marathon runner of all time, has unveiled the Eliud Kipchoge World Tour.

“Running is the most universal sport, it connects us all,” Kipchoge said in a statement released by his management team.

“With this project, I want to compete not only for records, but for the people. I want to continue to push myself to run at my best, but I also want to inspire, give back, and remind everyone that no human is limited. I believe that we can all come together and become a better world.”

The announcement came shortly after Kipchoge officially received his Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star Medal, having completed the 2025 New York City Marathon.

This marathon was Kipchoge’s first-ever New York City Marathon, and perhaps his final major as a professional athlete. He placed 17th with a time of 2:14:36.

Kipchoge has now successfully completed all six World Marathon Majors, having won four of them: Berlin, London, Chicago, Boston, Tokyo and  New York City.

His legendary running résumé boasts an unparalleled record, including two Olympic titles, the first sub-two-hour marathon in any conditions, two world records, and 12 World Marathon Major wins overall.

Kipchoge made his marathon debut in 2013 at the Hamburg Marathon, which he won in a course-record time, and claimed his first major marathon victory at the Chicago Marathon the following year.

Over the next decade, Kipchoge won multiple titles at the London Marathon and the Berlin Marathon where he broke the world record in 2018.
