Ulinzi Stars have dismissed head coach Danstun Nyaudo following a poor start to the 25/26 SportPesa League season.
The move comes following a challenging start to the season that has seen the military outfit collect only five points from its first five matches (1W 2D 2L).
“Ulinzi Stars Football Club wishes to announce that head coach Danstun Nyaudo has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.

The management appreciates coach Nyaudo’s dedication, professionalism and service to the team both on and off the pitch during his time in charge,” read the statement from Ulinzi Stars.
The management has further wished him well in his future endeavours
“We extend our sincere gratitude to coach Nyaudo for his contribution to the Ulinzi Stars family and wish him the very best in his future endeavours,” the statement read.
Nyaudo took charge of Ulinzi Stars at the start of the 2024/25 season. During that full campaign, he led the team in 34 matches, recording a mixed bag of results with 8 wins, 14 draws, and 12 losses.
The club has not yet announced an interim coach or a potential replacement ahead of their next fixture on Wednesday against Bidco United.
