Wendo further reaffirmed the need for the club’s new signings to settle in quickly.

On his part, AFC Leopards captain Ken Owino pointed out that the playing unit had learnt from its mistakes in the first match.

“We sat down and analyzed our errors and worked on rectifying them going into the second match of the season.

We know it’s not going to be easy with Posta Rangers having two wins in two matches but we are ready to face them,” said Owino, who captained the Mailmen before completing the switch to the Fred Ambani-led team in the 2023/24 mid-season transfer window.

A win for Posta takes them to the top of the league, while AFC Leopards’ first victory of the season will be a ray of hope for the 1998 champions.
