SportPesa League has officially been launched to grace the Kenyan football matches. Through a long-term 10-year sponsorship deal worth Ksh. 1.12 billion between SportPesa and FKF. This partnership aims to take the competition of Kenyan soccer to a higher level. The SPL will involve 18 of the best football clubs in the Kenya.
Kenya’s number one gaming platform launched the SportPesa League in collaboration with FKF on July 31, 2025. The SportPesa League is the men’s professional football league in Kenya which involves 18 competitive teams. The league was formed by the Kenya Football Federation in 1963 in which Gor Mahia leads with the most championships (21) in the competitions.
