As a result, Oilers will now face Nondies, who clinched second place in Pool D, while Daystar Falcons an increasingly impressive outfit in this year’s series booked a showdown with tournament favorites KCB in the quarters.
Falcons have shown consistent growth in the 2025 SportPesa Sevens circuit, finishing 11th at Driftwood Sevens and 9th at Prinsloo.
Their remarkable run continued in Nairobi, where they stunned defending champions Kabras 17-12 and crushed Ruga Ruga Select 38-5 to secure their quarterfinal berth.
Meanwhile, Zetech Oaks narrowly missed a spot in the quarters after being edged out on point difference by Kenya Harlequins and Strathmore Leos.
Despite commendable wins over Leos and Mombasa RFC, Oaks’ fate was sealed when Leos who also had seven points advanced due to a superior goal difference.
Harlequins, despite a tight 26-24 loss to Leos, finished top of the pool and progressed as well.
Kenya Harlequins are now set to face Impala RFC in the quarterfinals.
Impala, who narrowly missed out on a spot in the Prinsloo 7s quarterfinals, bounced back strongly this weekend, winning two of their three Pool B matches.
They secured a 19-7 victory over MMUST and defeated a struggling Nakuru RFC 19-5, with their only loss coming against Catholic Monks (33-5).

Strathmore Leos, after surviving a potential elimination, will aim to regroup as they prepare to face Catholic Monks in what promises to be a tightly contested quarterfinal.
The Monks, who topped Pool B, were held to a 7-7 draw by Nakuru RFC but have shown remarkable consistency since finishing third in the Prinsloo leg.
