The Government, in collaboration with the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) Local Organizing Committee, has confirmed that tickets will go on sale starting Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
This announcement was delivered by Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya on Monday, July 14, during a media briefing as officials conducted an inspection of the Moi International Sport Center, Kasarani.
This was in preparation for the continental tournament, which is scheduled to kick off in less than three weeks.
he Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially approved Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania as co-hosts for the tournament, which will run from August 2 to August 30, 2024.
With ticketing being a key concern among fans, the Cabinet Secretary confirmed that the tickets will be available exclusively online, providing a convenient purchasing experience for supporters.
As a country, we have really advanced in terms of technology. Many of our services are online, and therefore I don’t think Kenyans will have a problem buying the e-tickets. In fact, the portal will be opened on Wednesday, July 16, so that people can buy their tickets,” Mvurya stated.

He further emphasized the government’s readiness to address any potential hiccups.
“We don’t foresee any challenges with that. We will do our transactions online, and therefore this is not an isolated case. I’m sure if there are any issues that need support, the FKF and the Local Organizing Committee will be available to address them.”
Mvurya also highlighted that the tickets will be priced affordably to encourage public attendance and national pride, with prices ranging from as low as KSh 200 up to KSh 1,000.
Kenyans should now prepare themselves as ticketing will be available by this week. The tickets will go as low as 200 Kenya Shillings, 500, and 1,000, so that Kenyans will have ample time to watch the matches and show patriotism to our nation,” he reiterated.
