Speaking to SportPesa Blog, Irene Kwalia Kibet, the mother of the highly rated young player, confirmed that they are already in Madrid and en route to Vigo to finalize the move.

Securing a move to the Spanish top-flight giants is a dream come true for the budding talent, who has been honing his skills at Nastic Sports Academy in Spain.
With Celta Vigo now showing serious interest, Aldrine could become one of the rare Kenyan footballers to rise to elite European football, following in the footsteps of national icons Victor Wanyama and McDonald Mariga.
While details of the official deal remain under wraps, this move represents a major leap forward for the gifted midfielder whose ultimate dream is to don the jersey of either Arsenal or Barcelona.

Aldrine Kibet rose to national prominence in 2023 during the Kenya Secondary School Sports Association (KSSSA) games, where he starred for St Anthony’s Boys High School Kitale.
His brilliant performances earned him the Most Valuable Player award, and he played a pivotal role in leading his school to their sixth national title.
Later that same year, Kibet’s career took a major boast when he was selected to join the Nàstic Sports Academy in Spain.
He earned the opportunity after excelling in open trials held in Juja in March 2023, an achievement that marked the beginning of his journey into European football.
Additionally, the wonderkid was a key member of the U20 national team, Kenya Rising Stars, which made history by securing the country’s maiden qualification for the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Now, Aldrine Kibet is on the cusp of another milestone as he prepares to join Celta Vigo, a historic Spanish La Liga club that finished seventh in the league last season with 55 points.
