The Young Africans vs Simba SC Ligi Kuu Bara second-leg fixture was initially scheduled to be played on Saturday, March 8, 2025, but it was delayed because of a dispute.
The postponement of the highly anticipated Young Africans vs Simba SC match stemmed from a conflict concerning alleged violations of the Ligi Kuu Bara regulations.

The Young Africans vs Simba SC dispute explained
Simba SC argued that they were not allowed to conduct their final training session at the Benjamin National Mkapa Stadium on March 7 where the game was expected to be staged by people connected to Young Africans.
According to the club, the action was against rule 17(45) of the Ligi Kuu Bara regulations that gives clubs the right to use the venue before the day of match.

On the other hand, officials from Young Africans claimed that Simba SC did not make an official request to use the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, a move they described as unprocedural. Yanga even asked the relevant authorities to give them a walkover win.
However, after back and forth, including the postponement of Young Africans vs Simba SC rescheduled fixture that was planned to June 15, the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) eventually reached a resolution with the two giants.
