Gor Mahia head coach Sinisa Mihic will remain in the stands as he continues to serve his red-card suspension when the record Kenyan champions face FC Talanta on Thursday, in a rescheduled FKF Premier League clash at the Dandora Stadium (4:00 PM EAT).
The Croatian tactician was dismissed during their narrow 0-1 victory over KCB on April 7, earning a two-match ban.
The first of those was the 1-1 draw against Sofapaka, overseen by assistant coach Zedekiah Otieno (Zico) over the weekend.
With Mihic still sidelined, Zico will be determined to secure maximum points against a struggling Talanta side, reigniting their title charge with a crucial win.

K’Ogalo currently sit third on the table with 47 points four behind leaders Tusker and just two adrift of second-placed Kenya Police.
A win could see them leapfrog the latter into second place, with a one-point advantage.
However, the champions will be without dependable center-back Alphonce Omija, who is suspended after accumulating five yellow cards in league play.
Meanwhile, Talanta hovering just two spots above the relegation zone with 26 points are desperate to halt their slide, having suffered back-to-back defeats.
Under Jackson Gatheru, they will fight to ease relegation pressure, especially after a demoralizing 2-4 loss to Shabana over the weekend.
A positive result today could lift them to 14th place, with an extra game played over their rivals.
Mihic on Gor Mahia’s title race
Speaking ahead of the clash, Mihic expressed calmness despite the pressure surrounding the title race.
We have two matches this week and there’s hardly any time to rest the schedule is tight. So, we need to manage the squad carefully, and I hope we can win both games.
I don’t feel any pressure. The key is to focus on each match as it comes. The table only reflects what we’re doing on the pitch. With nine games remaining, everything is still possible.
The league is very competitiveand anyone can win it. It’s not like other leagues. These final weeks will be decisive,” Mihic told the club’s media team during a training session.
