- Posta Rangers mounted a comeback to beat hosts KCB FC 2-1 at the SportPesa Arena.
- The win helped Posta Rangers to climb to position 14 in the FKFPL table.
- A win for Kenya Police FC on Sunday will enable them to open an eight point gap over KCB FC who occupy the fourth position at the moment with 36 points.
KCB’s chances of winning the 24/25 Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title were reduced on Saturday by a gallant Posta Rangers side.
KCB players, who were the favorites to win the fixture that was played at the SportPesa Arena, returned to Nairobi feeling disappointed in themselves after allowing Rangers to come from behind and snatch a 2-1 win.
The Bankers took the lead in the ninth minute through their mercurial midfielder James Kinyanjui.
However, they lost concentration in the 45+5 minute to allow Posta Rangers to equalize through Shami Mwinyi.

At the start of the second half, KCB head coach Patrick Odhiambo decided to replace Matthias Isogol with Joshua Nyatini to try and reclaim their lead.
Nonetheless, Nyatini did not have a considerable impact in the game since the visitors continued to cause more troubles.
The determination that was displayed by the Posta Rangers players helped them to get a penalty with 35 minutes remaining to the end of the match.
Mwinyi stepped up and buried the penalty to give the Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo battalion a 2-1 lead.
Despite the introduction of Francis Kahiro and Patrick Otieno in the 69th minute, Posta Rangers were able to protect their lead and in the end collected three essential points.
