The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) has announced the date and venue for the 2024/25 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal draw.
According to the official statement, the draw will be conducted in Qatar’s capital, Doha in partnership with CAF media rights partner, beIN Sport on Thursday, 20 February 2025 where CAF will map out the exciting quarter-final fixtures for both competitions.
The TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup draw will take place at 14h00 GMT (1700EAT), followed by the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League draw at 15h00 GMT (1800EAT).
The Quarter-Finals of both competitions will be played over two legs, with the first leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League scheduled for 1-2 April and 8-9 April, while the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final fixtures are set to take place on 2 April and 9 April 2025.

Both draws will feature the reigning champions of each competition: Al Ahly SC, title holders of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, and Zamalek SC, the defending TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup champions.
In the Champions League, six of the clubs have lifted the coveted title before, with reigning champions Al Ahly chasing a record-extending 13th trophy win. Esperance have four previous victories, while AS FAR, Mamelodi Sundowns, MC Alger and Orlando Pirates each have a single title to their name.
Al Hilal have been the surprise package of the competition alongside Pyramids FC, who will look to emulate their Egyptian counterparts’ success on the continent. The latter will be making their debut in the knockout stages with the hope of continuing their impressive runs in the tournament.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, Zamalek, who topped Group D with an impressive 14 points, are joined by fellow Egyptian side Al-Masry in the knockout stages.
Tanzania’s Simba SC emerged as Group A winners, with Algeria’s CS Constantine securing second place.
Morocco’s Renaissance Berkane, previous winners of the competition, topped Group B ahead of South African debutants Stellenbosch.
USM Alger’s dominant Group C campaign saw them accumulate 14 points, while ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire dramatically claimed the final quarter-final berth with a convincing victory on the last day.
