History of Gor Mahia Queens FC

Gor Mahia Queens FC was formed more than 11 months ago after Gor Mahia FC signed a contract with Acakoro Ladies.

The move came after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) implemented a novel policy that required all football clubs in the continent to have a women’s team in order to be allowed to participate in the inter-club competitions.

Acakoro Chief Executive Officer (CEO) revealed then that Gor Mahia FC were to provide all the essential needs for the players for the next two years before they review their terms of agreement.
