  • The Kenya 7s beat Great Britain in the seventh place playoff
  • Shujaa added eight points to their tally from Cape Town

The men’s national rugby 7s side, Shujaa, recorded an improved performance in the second outing of the HSBC SVNS Series 2025 following their seventh-placed finish at the Cape Town 7s 2024 in South Africa.

Having finished in tenth position in the season-opening outing that took place in Dubai, which was their first since their promotion back to the Series, the Kevin ‘Bling’ Wambua’ coached side beat Great Britain 32-17 to finish in seventh.

A brace from Patrick Odongo and other tries from George Ooro, Samuel Asati and Nygel Amaitsa got the job done for the Kenyan boys who added eight points to the three they collected in Dubai.
