Arsenal and Manchester United will be seeking to outsmart one another when they renew their rivalry in the English Premier League on Sunday evening.

The Gunners are currently one point ahead of United going into the clash and will be keen to extend that gap when they face off at the Emirates Stadium.

Having won their opening two games this season, Mikel Arteta’s men failed to hold onto their goal advantage as they drew 2-2 against 10-man Fulham in matchday 3, a result they will want to correct when they host the Red Devils.

United, on the other hand, showed incredible resolve last time out as they came from two goals down in winning 3-2 against Nottingham Forest in an Old Trafford thriller that provided an immediate response to their 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

With the clash being the last before the September international window, both sides will be hopeful of going for the break on a high.

But it remains to be seen whether Arsenal can maintain their unbeaten start to the season or whether Erik ten Hag’s United can repeat their preseason heroics where they beat the last season runners up 0-2 while on the USA tour.

With defending champions Manchester City already two points clear at the top of the table after only three games played, all the onus is on Arsenal and United to prevent that gap from further widening.

But who will take all the three valuable points on offer?
