Manchester United are hoping to make it 3 straight English Premier League games without defeat as they host Tottenham on Wednesday.

After an enthralling two-days of Champions League football that yielded 48 goals, focus now switches to the UEFA Europa League.

Thursday night is packed with loads of football action and here, SportPesa’s Blog has a look at some key games and predictions.

As we go into matchday 3, Arsenal are in second place in Group A but have only played one game, a 2-1 away win at FC Zurich.

The Gunners have a task on the night as they prepare to go up against Group leaders Bodoe/Glimt, who are top with 4 points.

There are no injury concerns for the hosts and with the game at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta’s side are tipped to win convincingly.

Zurich are still without a win after 2 games and are at the bottom without a point ahead of their clash against PSV Eindhoven.

That game doesn’t seem to have the potential to be filled with goals and a draw could be the most likely outcome.

Another English Premier League side, Manchester United, are expected to have a routine away win against Omonia Nicosia.

United are second in Group E with 3 points, three behind league leaders Real Sociedad after a 2-0 victory against Sheriff Tiraspol last time out.

Sheriff have 3 points as well and have the chance to top the group if they can cause an upset against the Spaniards Sociedad on Thursday night.

Though, Sociedad are favorites to maintain their 100% record in the competition with their third successive victory.

In Group F, there is a unique setting as all four teams have 3 points after 2 matches.

Feyenoord lead the standings due to a superior goal difference and head into a top of the table clash against second place Midtjylland.

Midtjylland are expected to win narrowly on the night as they boast a fully fit squad plus home advantage.

Lazio are away at Sturm Graz and are tipped to come out on top, setting up an interesting return match going into matchday 4.

In Group C, Real Betis are at risk of their 100% record in the competition being halted as they travel to Italy to play AS Roma.

Betis are top with 6 points, while Roma are second with 3 points after a shock opening round defeat to Ludogorets.

Betis famously beat Roma 5-2 the last times these sides met in 2021 but the odds are far from the same this time round.

Jose Mourinho’s side are fresh off a morale-boosting win against Inter and are tipped as favorites to win.
