AFC Leopards will be out on Saturday to maintain their unbeaten run in the 2026/27 SportPesa League when they travel to face newcomers 3K FC in Round 6 at Moi Stadium in Embu.
Ingwe, alongside Migori Youth, are the only two sides yet to drop all three points to any of their opponents after five rounds.
On Saturday, they head to Embu sitting third on the log with nine points from two wins and three draws, four points behind table-toppers KCB FC, who took control of the standings on Friday after a narrow 1-0 late victory over APS Bomet.
The Fred Ambani charges, hopeful of silverware this season, come brimming with confidence after a 2-0 triumph over Kakamega Homeboyz last weekend at Wang’uru Stadium.
Emmanuel Lwangu opened the scoring before James Kinyanjui sealed the victory, ensuring the side not only registered their second win of the campaign but also secured their fourth clean sheet of the season.

AFC Leopards eye to extend unbeaten SportPesa League run
The backline, marshalled by new imports Tom Ikara of Uganda in goal and Kevinluke Otiala, has remained composed at the back, with Ikara believing he still has more to offer.
“The season has not gone badly so far for us. I have kept four clean sheets, and I think I have more to offer this season. The competition in the league is not easy, but everyone in the team is pushing hard and is ready for the next assignment,” Ikara told the club’s media ahead of the clash.
Coach Ambani believes the victory over Homeboyz will provide the motivation needed for this encounter, which his charges have prepared well for.
“The win against Homeboyz has motivated the team because we had two consecutive draws, which did not sit well with our performances. We needed a response and something to give our fans. That victory will fuel the players heading into this clash.
“We have prepared for this match just like any other, without underestimating our opponents, because teams in the top flight are not to be taken lightly,” Ambani stated.

On the other hand, league debutants 3K FC head into the fixture breathing down Ingwe’s necks in fifth place on the log, just one point behind their opponents on eight points.
They have registered two wins and two draws, suffering just one defeat.
Like AFC Leopards, they also won their previous outing, staging a comeback to stun Posta Rangers 2-1 at Police Sacco stadium. Goals from Sally Aly and Daniel Wanjala ensured they claimed their second victory of the season.
A second home win of the campaign would provide a significant morale boost for the Nicodemus Omasete charges, especially after a noisy week, as victory would see them leapfrog Ingwe and move closer to the summit.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides, with both teams eager to stamp their authority and claim bragging rights.
