The confirmed teams show extensive rotation on both sides. Giorgi Mamardashvili starts in goal for Liverpool, Joe Gomez returns to partner Ronald Araujo, and younger players Trey Nyoni, James McConnell, Lewis Koumas and Rio Ngumoha are all included from the start.

Tottenham give Martin Dubravka a start in goal. Archie Gray captains the side, with Tosin Adarabioyo, Marcos Senesi and Destiny Udogie also in defence. Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall and Conor Gallagher feature in midfield, while Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel and Omar Marmoush start further forward.

Liverpool’s bench includes several senior options if Andoni Iraola needs to change the game, including Alisson Becker, Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexander Isak, Bradley Barcola and Ryan Gravenberch.

Tottenham also have experience in reserve. Dominic Solanke and former Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson are among the substitutes at Anfield. The complete live substitute usage and any changes after kick-off can be followed through SP Score.

Liverpool’s 10 changes make this a very different side from the one that started against Fulham. Mamardashvili gets the cup start Iraola had already confirmed, while Gomez returns in central defence alongside Araujo. The midfield gives Nyoni and McConnell an opportunity next to Mac Allister.

The attacking selection also creates a different profile. Ngumoha and Koumas bring youth and direct running, with Gakpo supplying the senior attacking experience. Liverpool still have established first-team options available from the bench if the tie requires them.

Tottenham have changed most of the side that faced Everton. Gray captains a reshaped defence, Udogie returns, and Dubravka starts in goal. Bentancur is retained in midfield, while Kudus, Tel and Marmoush give Spurs a new front line for the cup tie.
