Malawi vs Ghana Women head-to-head and current form

Ghana have the advantage in the recent head-to-head record, having won both previous meetings between the two sides.

The Black Queens defeated Malawi 3-1 in a friendly in 2025 before recording a 4-0 victory in a warm-up match ahead of this year’s WAFCON.

The Scorchers have scored in all three of their group matches but have also conceded in each game.

Malawi vs Ghana prediction

Malawi have been one of the standout teams of the tournament and will take plenty of confidence into their first-ever WAFCON quarter-final.

However, Ghana have greater experience at this stage and have also enjoyed the better results in recent meetings between the two sides.

The Scorchers’ attacking quality should make this a competitive contest, but their defensive vulnerability could give Ghana the advantage.
