- Kabeberi 7s kicks off in Nairobi on August 15 and 16.
- Kabras Sugar RFC and their rivals KCB Rugby have been placed in the group of death alongside MMUST Rugby and Nakuru RFC.
- Following the Nairobi leg, the circuit moves to the Coast for the Driftwood 7s in Mombasa (August 22–23).
The stage is set for the third leg of the 2026 SportPesa National Sevens with a mouth-watering Division One draw unveiled for the Kabeberi 7s, scheduled for August 15–16 at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
The draw was conducted shortly after the conclusion of the Dala 7s Final in Kisumu where Kabras defeated Menengai Oilers 19-5 in the final to claim the title at Mamboleo setting the tone for the circuit’s return to the capital city in fortnight.
In Pool D, longtime Rugby 15s rivals KCB Rugby and Kabras Sugar RFC will renew their storied rivalry in what stands out as the Pool of Death.

Kabeberi 7s pools comfirmed
Four-time consecutive Kabeberi Sevens champions KCB enter as defending tournament champions, but newly crowned Dala 7s winners Kabras will be determined to overcome the Bankers, who previously defeated them in the Prinsloo Sevens final during the circuit opener.
Adding even more friction to the group, MMUST Rugby – who held KCB to a dramatic 19–19 draw during the Dala Sevens group stage, will clash with the Bankers once again, while Nakuru RFC round out the stacked four-team pool.
In Pool A, Kenya Harlequin lead the group following an impressive giant-killing campaign at Dala 7s, where they eliminated KCB in the quarter-finals.
Joining Quins are last year’s Kabeberi Sevens runners-up Daystar Falcons, who will be keen to replicate their run to the final from 2025. The pool is completed by Impala RFC and Kisumu RFC.

In Pool B, tournament hosts Mwamba RFC anchor the group on home soil, eager to recapture their former glory and lift the trophy for the first time since 2019.
Playing in front of their home crowd at the RFUEA Grounds, Kulabu face a stern test against Strathmore Leos, former circuit champions Nondescripts, and varsity side Catholic Monks who come as the div 2 champions at the Dala 7s.
In Pool C, Dala 7s runners-up Menengai Oilers stand as the top seed as they seek to build on their strong performance in Kisumu.
The Oilers will contend with Prinsloo 7s Division Two winners Zetech Oaks, KU Blak Blad, and Coastal representatives Mombasa Rugby.
Following the Kabeberi Sevens, the circuit heads to the Coast for the fourth leg of the series, the iconic Driftwood Sevens at Mombasa Sports Club on August 22–23.
Teams will then enjoy a short break before resuming action at the Embu Sevens on September 5–6, preceding the 60th edition of the Christie Sevens in Nairobi on September 12–13, where the 2026 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit champions will officially be crowned.
