Gor Mahia Head coach Charles Akonnor confirmed that captain Sylvester Owino remains a doubt after spraining his thigh in training while forward Felix Oluoch remains a long term absentee after undergoing a knee surgery.
The Venoms are handed a significant double boost ahead of the clash. Newly re-signed playmaker Farouk Miya hit top gear immediately, netting a first-half brace against Garde Republicaine.
Alongside him, midfielder Abdu Karim Watambala also found the back of the net, giving the Ugandan side a fully fit attack.
