We can look forward to plenty of midweek SportPesa League action as four rescheduled round 32 games are set to be played on Wednesday afternoon across the country.
With two games left in the 2025/26 SportPesa League season, record winners Gor Mahia maintain a four-point lead at the summit as they battle toward an unprecedented 22nd title.
AFC Leopards remain hot on their heels as they pray for a miracle that would see them win a first league title since 1998. Defending champions Police FC are in third with 52 points and will host relegation-threatened Kariobangi Sharks on Wednesday.
Bidco United saw their stay in the Kenyan topflight come to an end after a 1-0 loss to Shabana saw their relegation status confirmed. They will join Sofapaka in the National Super League next season.

With one more relegation spot left, Sharks and Ulinzi Stars need to avoid defeat in their remaining matches to keep any hope alive of playing in the SportPesa League next season.
We have a look at all four games lined up in midweek and offer our predicted outcomes. All matches will be played on Wednesday afternoon.
Bandari vs APS Bomet – Kwale Stadium, 2PM
Bandari are without a win in their last five league matches, leaving them in 10th place with 41 points. Their last match resulted in a 2-2 draw against KCB.
They face an in-form Bomet side who currently have the best run of form in the Kenyan league. The newcomers have won all of their last five matches – scoring eight goals and not conceding any.

Their impeccable run of form has seen them ascend up the league table into 13th with 37 points. Bomet are likely to achieve their target of a top 10 finish during their first season in the SportPesa League.
Bomet already beat Bandari this season, battling to a 1-0 victory in the first leg last December. This was also the first ever professional meeting between the two teams.
Prediction – Bomet to win or draw (X2)
Police vs Kariobangi Sharks – Police Sacco Grounds, 3PM
Police bring a respectable 10-match unbeaten run into this game, most recently coming off a 1-0 win against Bandari to book a place in the FKF Cup semis. They remain in third place in the league with 52 points.
They face a Sharks side who have mustered a three-match unbeaten streak to lift them out of the relegation zone. However, they are only a point above Ulinzi Stars with three games left to play for both sides.

Sharks convincingly beat Nairobi United 2-0 in their last match, to make it seven wins from 31 games played this season. Sensation Humphrey Aroko and Steve Mbulere were both on target for William Muluya’s charges.
Police were 1-0 winners when these sides met earlier in the season, though this is expected to be a much tougher test with lots more on the line.
Prediction – Under 2.5 goals
Sofapaka vs KCB – Kasarani Annex, 3PM
The 2009 Kenyan league winners saw their 19-year stay in the top flight come to an end. Sofapaka are currently on a 23-game winless run and are rooted to the bottom of the table.
They face a KCB side who they have beaten three times in their last five head-to-head matches. Victory will do nothing for the already relegated Batoto Ba Mungu, other than restore a sense of pride for the club.

The bankers are without a win in their last three games, including a Cup exit after a 1-0 loss to Tusker. Their last victory came against the other relegated team Bidco United last month.
Sofapaka have only scored 17 goals in 31 games this season but could get one here with their fate already decided.
Prediction – Under 2.5 goals
Ulinzi Stars vs Tusker – Ulinzi Sports Complex, 4PM
The soldiers cannot afford any more defeats in the three matches they have left to play this season. They are in 16th place with 32 points, one away from safety with Sharks also aiming to avoid relegation.

Ulinzi are coming off a 2-0 defeat to AFC Leopards, making it two consecutive games without victory at a point when they need it most. Back-to-back wins against KCB and Bandari lifted their hopes of avoiding relegation, needing another positive result to make it more of a reality.
Tusker on the other hand snapped a two-game losing streak to beat Bidco 2-0. They remain in seventh place on the log with 44 points and can still dream of a top five finish.
This will be an uphill task for Ulinzi who have lost four of the last five matches played against Tusker. A 1-1 draw in 2024 is the only point they have managed from this fixture in recent history.
Prediction – Both teams to score
