- The SportPesa League action resumes on Friday, April 24 for Round 29.
- Tusker FC will host Mara Sugar at Police Sacco Stadium from 2pm.
- Bidco United will face Posta Rangers at the Kasarani Annex from 4pm.
The thrilling round 29 of the SportPesa League action kicks off on Friday, April 24, with two fixtures lined up for the day.
Tukser FC will be hosting Mara Sugar at the Police Sacco stadium from 2pm EAT, while Posta Rangers will be welcoming Bidco United at the Kasarani annex from 4pm.
Tusker are bringing their home matches back to Nairobi after holding some of the recent ones in Kirinyaga County at Wang’uru Stadium, and all they will be seeking is to get back on track.

Last weekend, Julian Mette’s charges were desperately held to a goalless draw by relegation-threatened side Sofapaka at Wang’uru.
That result has left them in seventh place on the table, as they will be eyeing points that could lift them to 44, which might see them jump just one spot, since fifth-place Shabana has 46 points, while sixth-place Nairobi United has 42.
They will be looking forward to their sixth home win, having been held to draws in four of the 14 matches they’ve hosted so far, compared to five victories and five losses.
Speaking ahead of the clash, head coach Mette stated that the players are hungrier to return to winning ways after a poor showcase in their last outing.
“The players are hungry and upbeat about themselves, especially after the last result and performance the way we played was horrible. So I’m searching for players with hunger. We need to get back to winning ways, as well as maintain the dynamics of clean sheets and no defeats,” Mette told the club media before Friday’s clash.

For Mara Sugar, their momentum is high and they’ll be aiming to extend their three-match unbeaten streak (2 wins, 1 draw).
After beating Posta Rangers 1-0, they managed to travel to Nairobi, where Timothy Ndayala scored the decisive solo goal when they beat Kariobangi Sharks by the same scoreline for back-to-back victories.
They sit in 11th place with 37 points, and three points could push them further up to eighth with 40 points.
The Sugar Millers are chasing their first win over the Brewers since their promotion back in 2024, having suffered two defeats and shared spoils twice.
