Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has unveiled her final 25-player squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), with Kenya set to compete in Morocco from March 17 to April 3.
Odemba has opted for a balanced squad that blends seasoned internationals with a crop of exciting young talents drawn from Kenya’s U20 set-up.
The same group has already departed for Ivory Coast, where the team is scheduled to play two international friendly matches before heading to Miramas, France, for a pre-tournament residential training camp.

The Starlets will first face Benin on March 2 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan before taking on the hosts Ivory Coast on March 4 at the Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium in Ebimpé.
These fixtures are expected to give Odemba a clearer picture of her starting eleven and tactical structure ahead of the continental showpiece.

After the friendlies, the squad will travel to France for a training camp running until March 15. The Miramas camp is designed to fine-tune tactics, sharpen match fitness and strengthen team chemistry before the team proceeds to Morocco.
Kenya has been drawn in a challenging Group A alongside hosts Morocco women’s national football team, Senegal women’s national football team and Algeria women’s national football team.
The Starlets will open their campaign against Morocco on March 17 before facing Senegal on March 20 and concluding the group stage against Algeria on March 23.
Among the notable inclusions are Diana Ochol, Elizabeth Ochaka and Vidah Akeyo of Kenya Police Bullets, who have all featured prominently for Kenya’s U20 side.
