Inter Milan are running away with the Serie A lead as we gear up for mouthwatering action in round 26 in the 2025/26 season.
Inter are at the top of the standings with 61 points, seven ahead of their closest challengers AC Milan. The Serie A leaders are unbeaten in their last 13 matches.
The other heavyweights Napoli, Roma and Juventus round up the top five spots in the Italian top flight ahead of this weekend’s fixtures.
Fiorentina, Pisa and Verona remain the bottom three sides with time running out for them to retain their Serie A status next season.

Sassuolo vs Verona – Friday, 10:45PM
Sassuolo are seeking back-to-back wins after edging Udinese 2-1 away from home in their last outing. The result leaves them in 10th place with 32 points.
They welcome a struggling Verona side who are rooted to the bottom of the table with 15 points from 25 games. Verona are winless in their last 10 matches in all competitions.
Andrea Pinamonti scored the only goal as Sassuolo beat Verona 1-0 in the reverse fixture last October. The hosts have won three and lost two of their last five head-to-head matches against their opponents.
Verona have only scored two goals in their last five matches and are not expected to find it easy here either.

Juventus vs Como – Saturday, 5PM
Juve have recently struggled with their form, winning just once in their last five games. The dip has seen them drop into fifth place on the standings with 46 points, four ahead of their opponents.
The hosts lost 3-2 to league leaders Inter in their last match, their second Serie A match without a win after a 2-2 home draw against Lazio.
Sixth-place Como have proved to be the surprise package this season with Cesc Fabregas at the helm. However, they are winless in their last Serie A games, coming off a 1-1 draw against AC Milan in midweek.
Marc Kempf and Nico Paz were both on target when Como beat Juventus 2-0 at home last October. The hosts have an edge in their recent head-to-head encounters, winning three times and losing just once.

Lecce vs Inter – Saturday, 8PM
The runaway leaders are wounded after they were stunned in a 3-1 Champions League defeat to minnows Bodo/Glimt in midweek. They face a resurgent Lecce side who registered back-to-back wins for the first time all season.
Lecce beat both Udinese and Cagliari to lift themselves out of the relegation zone and into 17th place with 24 points. They are seeking a first win against Inter since a 1-0 victory in 2012.
Inter have scored a remarkable 18 goals in their last five Serie A wins and are tipped to score here as well. With Lecce on an improved run of form, we can expect both teams to score in this game – but Inter have an edge over their opponents.

Atalanta vs Napoli – Sunday, 5PM
Arguably the biggest game in the Serie A weekend fixture list sees seventh-place Atalanta host Napoli at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo. The hosts have 42 points and are seeking to extend their unbeaten run.
Atalanta are without defeat in their last eight Serie A matches. They are however coming off a 2-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League knockout playoff in midweek.
Napoli are eight points ahead of their opponents and have lost just one of their last five league games. They were held to a thrilling 2-2 draw by Roma in their last outing.
The visitors have a slight edge in their last five head-to-head encounters, winning three and losing two of the last five matches. Napoli were 3-1 winners the last time these sides met last November.
All of the last five games between these two sides has produced over 2.5 goals and the same can be expected here.
