A hotly-debated first half penalty from Brian Michira was enough to hand Shabana FC a 1-0 victory over Bandari FC on Sunday afternoon at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii ensuring Bernard Mwalala’s return to Kisii ended in frustration.
The win sees Tore Bobe climb to 31 points and third on the Sportpesa League table after completing the double over the Mombasa based club.
For the Dockers, the result marks a disappointing end to their recent run of form, as they struggled to find a way past a resolute Shabana defense to lose their first game in seven matches.
