Callum Wilson’s stoppage time winner sealed a vital 2-1 away Premier League win for West Ham as Tottenham Hotspur lost their third consecutive game.
The pressure is on for Thomas Frank and his side, who are now in 14th place with 27 points. Tottenham have only won one of their last seven Premier League matches.
Clifton Summerville gave the Hammers an early lead in the 15th minute. The rest of the half was cagey but with Spurs enjoying most of the ball through to half time.
Christian Romero brought Spurs level just after the hour mark following a Pedro Porro corner. The goal brought life into the stadium as the Spurs faithful hoped to win their first game this year.
It was all drama and pandemonium in the 93rd minute after a goalmouth scramble gifted Wilson the chance to tap the ball into the net. This was West Ham’s second win on the bounce, lifting them a spot higher into 18th place.

West Ham stated their intent on avoiding the axe and there will undoubtedly be a new sense of hope after the morale-boosting victory.
Down the road at Stamford Bridge, Liam Rosenior marked his first league game in charge with a smooth 2-0 win against Brentford. Chelsea are now in sixth with 34 points.
Joao Pedro smashed the ball into the roof of the net in the 26th minute to give Chelsea the lead. They had to wait until the 76th minute to seal all three points, courtesy of a perfect Cole Palmer penalty.

Liam Delap came off the bench and had a direct impact, rolling the ball past Caoimhin Kelleher in the Brentford goal before being taken down to win the penalty for Chelsea.

The win will do Rosenior a lot of good as he prepares for a Champions League match against Pafos, before a tricky away game at Crystal Palace.
Palace’s woes continued with a 2-1 loss to Sunderland, stretching their winless run to 10 games. Enzo Le Fee and Brian Brobbey were both on target for the Black Cats to cancel out Yeremy Pino’s 30th minute goal for Palace.
The win lifts Sunderland into eighth place with 33 points, Palace are five points below them in 13th.
Liverpool were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by struggling Burnley, increasing their recent frustrations. The reds have drawn four of their last five matches as they barely hang on to the top four.
Florian Wirtz continued his recent impressive burst of form with the opening goal three minutes before halftime. His third goal in as many matches looked to be setting up Liverpool for a routine victory until their hearts broke in the 65th minute.
Forward Marcus Edwards leveled matters for the newcomers who despite the point, remain second from last with 14 points.
There was late drama at Elland Road as well, with Lukas Nmecha coming off the bench to score a dramatic stoppage time winner for Leeds. The 1-0 win halted Fulham’s seven-game unbeaten run.
