Mashemeji 2025/26: Gor Mahia vs AFC Le
  • The SportPesa League Round 15 predictions covers games taking place from Sunday to Monday.
  • Gor Mahia lead the standings on 23 points.

As we prepare for some mouthwatering round 15 SportPesa League action, Gor Mahia lead the standings with 23 points from 12 games.

The competition at this stage of the competition is more stiff than it has been in recent years with only three points separating the top eight teams.

Below the record league winners are five teams who are all level on 21 points, setting this weekend up to be filled with plenty of top of the table action.

At the foot of the table, Kariobangi Sharks finally snapped an eight-game winless run to beat Bidco United 1-0, however they remain bottom with 11 points.

There was also finally a reason to celebrate a win for Murang’a Seal, who stunned champions Kenya Police 1-0 on Thursday to climb into 12th place, two points above the relegation zone.

We have a look at some of the top games scheduled for round 15 in the SL as we offer our predicted outcomes.

SportPesa League Round 15 predictions

Ulinzi Stars vs Posta Rangers – Sunday, 4PM

Posta are one of the sides with 21 points, with a win here potentially taking them to the top of the table.

They face an Ulinzi side who have lost three successive games, most recently a 2-1 loss to AFC Leopards in midweek.

Ulinzi’s dismal run of performances leaves them in 16th place with 13 points.

Posta have played out to two barren draws against APS Bomet and Bandari, but have only lost once in their last five games.

Ulinzi have only beaten Posta once in their last five head-to-head encounters and need to correct that if they are to climb out of the relegation zone.

Prediction – Both teams to score @ 2.16 odds

APS Bomet vs Tusker – Sunday, 2 PM

Bomet’s admirable run without defeat came to an end as they gave away a lead to lose 4-2 to KCB in midweek.

They currently sit in 15th place with 13 points, eight behind fifth place Tusker.

Tusker also had their three-game winning streak halted in surprise fashion as they lost 1-0 to newcomers Nairobi United.

Kevin Otiende’s 10th minute goal was enough to stop the brewers from taking over as SL group leaders.

This will be the first competitive match between these two teams.

Prediction – Draw or Tusker win @1.15 odds

Nairobi United vs Gor Mahia – Sunday, 4PM

Gor will be seeking revenge after Nairobi United beat them 2-1 in the FKF Cup final to qualify for continental football.

Nairobi United are confident after sinking the brewers but face a stern test when they take on the league leaders.

Despite playing the fewest number of games so far this season (8), United are in 11th place with 16 points.

Both sides have forwards who have scored four goals this season in Felix Oluoch and Enoch Machaka, setting this up to be game potentially filled with goals.

Prediction – Both teams to score @ 2.02 odds

Kakamega Homeboyz vs Kenya Police – Monday, 3PM

With both sides coming off similar 1-0 defeats in midweek, there is lots to look forward to in this heavyweight clash.

Fourth-place Police have 21 points, one more than their opponents who occupy seventh place on the log.

Interestingly, this game pits Police’s joint-best defensive record (7) against the highest scoring SL side in Homeboyz (16).

In their recent matches, Police have the advantage, winning three of the last five and losing just once.

Homeboyz were 2-1 winners the last time these two sides locked horns, with the Patrick Otieno-coached side looking to repeat that success on Monday.

Prediction – Kakamega Homeboyz or draw @ 1.78 odds

Mara Sugar vs Murang’a Seal – Monday, 1 PM

The hosts have the chance to break into the top three for the first time this season if they can muster a win here.

Mara Sugar, who have 18 points so far, are unbeaten in three games while not conceding a single goal in that run.

They come up against a Murang’a side who have not lost in eight matches, snapping a five-game stalemate streak with an important 1-0 win against Champions Police.

Murang’a have never lost to Mara Sugar, winning four of the seven games played against them.

It won’t be a walk in the park for Murang’a as their opponents boast the best defensive record in the land, conceding just seven goals in 13 games.
