Shabana FC extended their unbeaten SportPesa League 25/26 streak to four matches thanks to a 1-0 victory over Kenya Police FC at the Police Sacco Grounds on Sunday afternoon.
Gilbert Abala’s first-half strike sealed all three points for the “Glamour Boys,” who rise to fourth on the SportPesa League table. Shabana have now gotten their third away win of the season.
Meanwhile, the defeat halts the “Law Enforcers'” winning run of three matches, as the Dusan Stojanovic side missed a glorious chance to go top of the table.

They now remain third on the log, eclipsed by Gor Mahia and Kakamega Homeboyz, who occupy first and second position on the table, respectively.
The victory builds great momentum for the Gusii-based club, who welcome Bidco United in their backyard in their next league fixture.
In other matches on Sunday afternoon, Bandari FC played to a 1-1 draw with Ulinzi Stars at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
Masita Masuta’s early goal was cancelled out by Darius Msagha’s who opened his goal count for the season for the all-important leveler.
Masita found himself on the back of the net for the second consecutive match after a wonderful run by Brian Birgen.
The “Dockers” have now drawn six matches; Ulinzi’s search for their first win at home continues.
At the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega, Kakamega Homeboyz also failed to capitalize on the chance to go top of the table with a 1-1 draw against KCB.
Gideon Bendeka opened his goal tally for the season, giving Homeboyz the lead, but the goal was rebutted by Boniface Omondi’s second-half strike.
At the SportPesa Arena in Murang’a, the hosts, Murang’a SEAL, drew their fourth consecutive match with a barren stalemate while facing Kariobangi Sharks.
The draw leaves Sharks at the bottom of the log after ten matches.
Bidco United will complete Gameweek Eleven matches on Monday when they play host to Posta Rangers at the Kasarani Annex.
