Speaking to the press on Friday after receiving the SportPesa League Coach of the Month award for October, the Ghanaian international delivered an encouraging report.

Our players who have been with the national team have joined us today (Friday) and they are all okay. Lewis Bandi has also rejoined us this week. He has returned to training and everything is fine now,” the former Black Stars head coach stated.
“We believe everyone is fit, but we also have a plan for who will and will not play.”
It is going to be a busy week; we have another match on Tuesday, so we want to balance the team in terms of fatigue. Some have travelled long distances, and we will try to manage that,” he added.
The 51-year-old also hinted that to keep the squad fresh, he might alter the team’s formation for Saturday’s clash.

They host a formidable Tusker FC side at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, from 3:00 PM EAT.
Saturday’s match against Tusker is very important to us, and we may change our style of play. There is a probability we will rotate the squad,” Akonnor explained.
“With three matches in a week, we want to ensure the team remains energetic.”
This squad boost comes at an ideal time for K’Ogalo as they aim to extend their strong league run.
A victory on Saturday would strengthen their position at the summit of the table, where they currently lead with 16 points from five wins, one draw, and just a single loss this season.
