The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup 2025 will enter its Round of 32 this weekend with thrilling action expected at various venues across the country.
On Saturday, March 8, eight matches will be played with the much-anticipated fixture being Mara Sugar hosting the cup reigning champions AFC Leopards at Mamboleo Stadium in Kisumu County at 4:00 PM EAT.
AFC Leopards, aiming for their 11th title, secured their spot after a 3-1 victory over Dero, a team from the Nyanza Regional League in the Round of 64.

Meanwhile, Benedict Wanjala’s Mara Sugar triumphed 0-2 against Webuye Sportiff.
This match promises to be a high-stakes encounter, with AFC Leopards still in the race for the league title and eager to add the FKF Cup to their collection.
Mara, last season’s National Super League champions (NSL) under coach Benedict Wanjala, are determined to push for a place in the final.
Despite the challenge, Wanjala is optimistic, stating that his players will exert maximum effort.
“This is a cup competition and every team enters with the goal of winning the trophy. My mission is to take the team to the finals and claim it. Many of my players have not had the chance to showcase their talent, and I’ve told them this is their opportunity.
We are all excited for this match because I know they will give their best effort. It won’t be easy, but we are ready,” Wanjala explained after their 1-1 draw against Sofapaka.
In their two league meetings this season, the first ended in a 1-1 draw, while Fred Ambani’s AFC Leopards secured all three points in the second round with a 3-1 victory.

Kisumu fans will be treated to a doubleheader on Saturday, with the defending champions, Kenya Police FC opening the ground against Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) at 1:00 PM.
The law enforcement side began their campaign with a commanding 3-0 win over Superior Hotels, while MOFA put on an impressive 4-0 display against Shalima in the Round of 16.
Meanwhile, at Dandora Stadium in Nairobi, there will also be a doubleheader. Struggling Kariobangi Sharks will aim to secure a spot in the next round when they face Zetech Titans FC at 1:00 PM.
The Titans, in Division One Zone A, are 11th in the standings and have also faced recent challenges. Sharks, languishing in the top tier with an 11-match winless streak, will see this cup tie as an opportunity to regain momentum and secure a spot in the Round of 16.
At 4:00 PM, a thrilling clash will unfold as National Super League leaders Nairobi United host Tusker FC.
Under the guidance of Nicholas Muyoti, Nairobi United is on an eight-match winning streak, sitting atop the log with 44 points.
They will look to pile pressure on Tusker, who have struggled with five winless matches in the top flight and are second on the table with 41 points.
