Bidco United secured a point against Ulinzi Stars on Friday, January 31 in a 1-1 draw at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County, marking their sixth consecutive match without a win and deepening their woes in the 24/25 Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
Jacob Onyango scored the opening goal in the first half, giving the Oilers the lead with a strike against his former club. However, Telena Ochieng equalized in the second half.
The draw means Antony Akhulia’s side has managed just three victories this season, leaving them in 17th place on the table, tied with Posta Rangers at 17 points—just one position above the relegation zone.
In contrast, Danstun Nyaudo’s team, coming off a 1-0 loss to Tusker FC last weekend, rose to 10th place with 23 points.
The match saw Nyaudo introduce fresh faces to strengthen his squad.
New signings Oscar Wamalwa and Abdalla Kidato, both from Vickers, made their debuts, along with Meshack Karani from Mara Sugar.

Despite the fresh additions, Jacob Onyango struck early, breaking the deadlock just 80 seconds into the game with a powerful shot from the left wing, giving Bidco the lead.
A cross from Brian Mboya one minute later could have doubled the lead, but no one was there to capitalize.
Brian’s subsequent attempt in the 31st minute sailed over the bar, denying the Oilers a second goal.

Meshack Karani had an opportunity to equalize in the 41st minute, but his shot in his debut went over the bar.
The former Mara Sugar player had another chance in the 45th minute, but again, his shot missed the target, and Akhulia’s side went into the break with the lead.
In the second half, Nyaudo made immediate changes, bringing in Leshan Motian for Oscar Wamalwa and Abdalla Kidato went off for Alex Masinnde.
Telena Ochieng produced a brilliant strike from a free kick on the right wing in the 49th minute, sending a powerful shot past the defenders to equalize the match.
Fredrick Odour failed to convert a Boniface Muchiri free kick in the 54th minute, which could have given Ulinzi the lead.
Both teams were well-matched in the second half, with their attempts failing to yield further goals. As the final whistle blew, they settled for a draw.
