Harambee Stars left-back Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma has been named Player of the Month for November by his Polish club, Raków Częstochowa.
Marcelo took to his social media to express gratitude for the award, saying, ‘Grateful for the Player of the Month award,’ he wrote on his Facebook page.
Since joining second-placed Raków at the start of the season from Swedish side AIK, Ouma has been in excellent form, with three assists and one goal to his name. He was also named Man of the Match in one of those games.

Two of his three assists came in November, when he set up two goals in a 3-2 victory over Widzew Łódź in a highly contested match on November 30, 2024.
He also provided the assist for the only goal in their 1-0 win against Pogoń Szczecin on October 20, 2024.
The former Gor Mahia player scored his sole goal for Raków in September 2024, during a 5-1 win over Zagłębie Lubin.
However, Erick Otieno was sidelined by an injury in December, following a knock in the match against Motor Lublin.

He was substituted in the 18th minute of the 2-2 draw on December 7. The club later provided an injury update, stating that tests showed no serious issues and that Ouma should be fit for the start of spring training preparations.
Raków are currently unbeaten in their last nine matches and sit second in the Ekstraklasa with 36 points, just two behind league leaders Lech Poznań.
Their record includes 10 wins, six draws, and only two losses as they aim for their second league championship after winning their first cup in the 2022/2023 season.
Marcelo’s dream with the club, in which he has made 17 appearances so far, is to play in the UEFA Champions League.
