The two sides played some great football from the start as they battled it out for the essential three points that were on offer.
Although both sides had a couple of goal scoring opportunities in the first 30 minutes of the match, Posta Rangers were the first to find the back of the net in the 32nd minute through Ivan Ochieng.
However, the lead only lasted for less than 70 seconds before birthday boy Ryan Ogam found an equalizer for the Brewers.

The goal was made possible by Thomas Omole, who did a great job to win back possession before linking up with Ogam, who did what he does best.
This was the 13th goal of the season for the talented player who was celebrating his 20th birthday and it drove him a step closer to winning the coveted golden boot award.
After drawing level Tusker FC, continued to pile pressure on Posta Rangers which paid off in the 38th minute when they got a corner kick.
Dennis Wanjala took the responsibility to wipe the ball into their opponents’ penalty box which luckily fell to Thomas Teka, who netted it into the back of the net to send the Tusker FC bench into celebrations.
Wanjala’s goal ensured the Charles Okere coached side went to the half time break with a well-deserved 2-1 lead.
At the start of the second half, Posta Rangers showed a slight improvement but they were unable to find the much needed equalizer.
Nonetheless, as the game went on, the visitors regained control of the match and their work became a little bit easier with 12 minutes remaining to the end of the regulation time when Rangers shot stopper Lazarazu Otieno collided with Omole who was clear on goal and in the process got a red card since he was the last time.
The decision forced Posta Rangers tactician Bernard Kawinzi to replace second-half substitute Felix Oluoch with Kevin Opiyo.
Despite the move, Tusker were able to get their third goal of the match in the 86th minute that came courtesy of Charles Momanyi.
The win increased Tusker’s tally to 27 points from 14 matches and helped them maintain their second position in the log while Posta Rangers remained stuck in one of the relegation spots with 11 points from a similar number of matches.
Elsewhere, Sofapaka FC secured a 2-0 win against Bidco United in a fixture that was played at the Dandora Stadium in Nairobi.

Batoto ba Mungu’s goals were scored by Benjamin Mosha and John Otieno in the 23rd and 52nd minutes respectively.
