This week’s Midweek Jackpot will be played on Friday only with the first game set to kick off at 6 PM and the last match at 11 PM, meaning you could be a millionaire in under 7 hours.

The match pitting Gloria Buzau against Hermanstadt in the Romanian League will get the Midweek Jackpot underway when the two sides meet at the Stadionul Municipal.

Both sides find themselves in the bottom four places in the standings with Hermannstadt sitting in 13th place on 13 points while Buzau occupy last position on 10 points.

The last time these two sides met, Hermannstadt came from behind to record a 2-1 win, a result they will hope to replicate as they seek to end their four-match winless run (2L 2 D).

Another close contest will see Red Star and Caen locking horns in the French Ligue 2 with the match kicking off at  9 PM.

Both sides are tied on seven points after eight matches played and are only one point above the bottom three relegation places.

Hosts Red Star have not won any of their last five games (L4 D1) while Caen have tasted back-to-back defeats in their last two league matches.

The Midweek Jackpot will come to a close in Argentina when Sarmiento take on Gimnasia L.P. at the Estadio Eva Peron from 11 PM.

So far, SportPesa has unveiled six Midweek Jackpot winners in 2024.

Dominic Musili was the latest winner after he grabbed a staggering Ksh. 20,801,394 on 4 October 2024.

The trio of Bernard Kipkoech, Charles Obwoge and Wellington Asena preceded him following their joint win in August while the jackpot stood at Ksh. 17,847,307.

Omondi Oyoo and Athuman Salim also shared Ksh 26,868,134 back in June.

In 2023, Esbon Macharia was the last SportPesa Midweek Jackpot winner after scooping KSHs 27,041,645 on 24 November.

Seth Mokua came before him by winning KSHs 24,665,485 on September 2. The teacher from Nyamira County correctly predicted all 13 games to walk away with the lucrative amount on SportPesa.

Mokua’s win, followed Jackson Mutiso who had been the last winner of the Midweek Jackpot as his stellar efforts saw him win Kshs 20,892,489 on 6 June 2023.

His win came just two months after Stephen Ojwang’ squared up against the humongous SportPesa Midweek Jackpot and came out on top, becoming an instant millionaire.

The 50-year-old from Siaya also managed to correctly predict all 13 games in the Midweek Jackpot as he won an astounding KSHs 23,027,939.
