Leading online gaming firm SportPesa unveiled its latest multimillionaire on Wednesday afternoon after presenting Dominic Musili with a cheque worth Ksh 20,801,394 after the 40-year-old won the Midweek Jackpot.
Using only 99 shillings as the stake for his bet, the father of three correctly predicted the outcome of all the 13 games as required in the SportPesa Midweek Jackpot, becoming the latest winner to be churned out of the gaming firm’s factory of millionaires.
In a festivity-filled unveiling that started in the heart of Nairobi, Musili was accorded tight security as a convoy of police outriders cleared the way for the man who toured various parts of the Kenyan capital including Juja Road, Dandora Roundabout, Kayole, the famous Jacaranda before the final unveiling took place in Pipeline.
During his official presentation, Musili was ushered onto the stage to the famous Anguka Nayo dance challenge to signify how he beat the odds to carry home the over 20 million Midweek Jackpot.
Speaking after his win, Musili reminisced how he felt after receiving the popular congratulations message from SportPesa that left him on cloud nine.
“I remember I was in Nanyuki just going about my business as usual before placing the bet. The Midweek Jackpot was being played over two days and by the end of the first day, I had correctly predicted all the first eight games.
I was now interested to follow the remaining five games because I knew there was a high chance of getting at least a bonus which starts at ten games,” Musili narrated to SportPesa Blog.

“When I realized all the 13 games turned out correct, I stayed up all night since I could not even sleep. I was home alone at the time because my wife was not around. But I was really happy. I could not believe my eyes,” he said.
Following his win, Musili, who has been a SportPesa customer for over five years, gave a brief roadmap of how the money will impact his life in the near future.
“Before I even won the 20 million SportPesa Midweek Jackpot, I always had dreams of investing in real estate and buying a plot for myself. I will also now be going into business with this new found fortune,” he revealed.

Musili becomes the sixth SportPesa Midweek Jackpot winner in 2024 following the trio of Bernard Kipkoech, Charles Obwoge and Wellington Asena who jointly won in August while the jackpot stood at Ksh. 17,847,307.
Omondi Oyoo and Athuman Salim also shared the Ksh 26,868,134 jackpot in June 2024.
The SportPesa Midweek Jackpot will now reset to 10 million shillings following Musili’s win.
