SportPesa Mega Jackpot Bonus

Sports and gaming have mainly been labeled as a man’s thing, but 24-year-old Christine Adhiambo, who hails from Oyugis, Homabay County, has broken the norm by being the first winner of the year in the SportPesa Mega Jackpot Bonus.

Adhiambo won Ksh 2,335,528 after predicting 15 games correctly out of the 17 on offer in the SportPesa Mega Jackpot.

She registered with SportPesa back in January 2023 but has never won any amount, not only on the Jackpots but also on the multi and single bets she tried out.

However, that did not kill her hopes as her latest stab in the SportPesa Mega Jackpot ended with her bagging over 2.3 million as bonus for her 15/17 correct predictions.

“The day I placed this bet, I was on my way to a church function, and I mentioned a prayer to God. When I saw the message, I didn’t believe it since I had never won before. I registered in January 2023 but this is the first time I have won,” said the young business lady.

I was very happy, but I was still in doubt. Now that I have received my cheque, I will go back and plan best on how to use the cash,” she added.

Interestingly, the win caught her by surprise as she did not follow up with the games, only for her husband to inform her that she had won upon seeing the congratulatory message from SportPesa first.

Adhiambo is a health record student at KMTC as well as a small businesswoman who sells charcoal after her classes.

Her advice to the ladies is that they should also try their luck by placing bets with SportPesa to stand a chance of being the latest millionaires in the country as she vowed to bag the overall SportPesa Mega Jackpot that has crossed over 345 million.

“I will keep playing with SportPesa because I am aiming for that over 345 million shillings. I hope that money will be mine,” she said.

She also acknowledged the good work SportPesa is doing to impact the lives of other people in the society and the support they are offering to Kenyan teams like Gor Mahia whom she is a big supporter.

Her story has been very inspirational; she didn’t just break the odds, she shattered them, leaving victory in her wake.

At the same time, SportPesa also played host to Vincent Onyala and Anthony Omondi, co-captains of the Kenya 7s Rugby team, Shujaa, that jetted back into the country on Monday after a triumphant outing in Dubai where they won the first leg of the World Rugby HSBC 7s Challenger Series, beating Chile 12-5 in the finals.

While paying a courtesy call on the SportPesa CEO Hon. Capt. Ronald Karauri to whom they presented the trophy, the duo expressed their delight at the opportunity to represent the country in their quest to get back to the core HSBC World Rugby 7s Series.

“This was an awesome experience for the team, we knew where and how we wanted to start our campaign back to the top with an aim of making it into the top 4 and by the end of the tournament we were the team to beat which was indeed the icing on the cake,” expressed Anthony Omondi of the SportPesa-sponsored squad.

According to the co-captains, the team that still waits to navigate two more legs in the Challenger Series, is not lost on the heavy task and prospect of getting back to the World Rugby 7s Series.

The next upcoming legs in the World Challenger Series are Montevideo in Uruguay from 8th to 10th March and Munich in Germany from 18th to 19th May.
