• The Man United vs Chelsea clash will kick off on Wednesday at 2315EAT.
  • Manchester United are in 7th spot on 24 points.
  • Chelsea are in 10th position on 19 points.

Once two of the best clubs in the world, Manchester United and Chelsea have fallen down the pecking order and have become a laughingstock to most rival fans.

The two Premier League giants have broken the hearts of many of their supporters this season more than ever before.

However, Wednesday’s crunch clash presents a golden chance for one of them to lift the morale of millions of their die-hard fans around the universe and perhaps turn their season around.

Hosts Manchester United go into the game on the back of consecutive defeats against Galatasaray and a formidable Newcastle side.

In addition, the Red Devils’ attacking lineup has not been convincing this season with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial struggling to find the back of the net.

Meanwhile, Chelsea would be seeking to win their second consecutive game after displaying an encouraging fighting spirit to beat Brighton 3-2 at home despite playing the majority of the game with 10 men after the sending off of Conor Gallager.

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino would be hoping disciplinary issues do not affect them in the upcoming match since the Blues have finished two of their recent matches with 10 players.

Man United vs Chelsea Prediction

Scoring goals seems not to be an issue for Chelsea anymore but United have been firing blanks for the majority of the first half of the season. The two sides have also failed to keep a clean sheet in most of their recent big matches.

Despite their form, goals are always to be expected in clashes of this size and that is anticipated to happen once again.
