PSG vs Monaco Team News

Although the return of Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi and Randall Kolo Muani from suspension is a boast to PSG, Enrique lost two of his other dependable players in the just concluded international break to injuries.

Warren Zaire-Emery, who has been a revelation at the heart of PSG’s midfield this season, suffered an injury, minutes into his Les Bleus debut and is expected to be on the sidelines for a while.

Experienced Brazilian centre back Marquinhos is also a big doubt for the clash after picking up a suspected hamstring injury while on international duty.

PSG will also miss the services of Nuno Mendes, Marco Asensio, Danilo Pereira, Presnel Kimpembe, goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Sergio Rico who are nursing injuries.

BET ON THIS GAME

Similar to PSG, Monaco head into tomorrow’s game with a number of key absentees.

Youssouf Fofana, who scored a wonder goal in France’s 2-2 draw against Greece two days ago will miss the match due to suspension.

His probable replacements include Edan Diop, Mohamed Camara and the 21-year-old Eliot Matazo, who has Kenyan roots.

Besides Fofana, Monaco will also be without Myron Boadu, Mohammed Salisu, Eliesse Ben and Caio Henrique due to injury-related reasons.

It is also not clear whether Arsenal academy product Florian Balogun, Guillermo Maripan and Japanese international Takumi Minamino will start the match.
