Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool – Saturday, 7:30pm

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham will face another tough test on Saturday when they host Jurgen Klopp’s in-form Liverpool at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Having delivered an impressive performance last weekend to draw 2-2 against North London rivals Arsenal, Spurs will be confident of overcoming challenge from a Liverpool side that has won their last seven matches in all competitions.

The Reds currently sit second on the log on 16 points, two ahead of Tottenham Hotspur who are in fourth place.

Liverpool completed the double over Spurs last season with those two games producing ten goals in total.

The clubs are also in fine form in front of goal as they have scored at least two goals in all their league matches except on the opening day where Liverpool only managed one goal.

Spurs may be on the ascendancy but a free-flowing Liverpool is anticipated to continue with their dominance in the clash as they have never been beaten by the hosts since 2017.

AS Monaco vs Marseille – Saturday, 10:00pm

Both teams will be seeking to get back to winning ways when they meet at the Stade Louis II.

Hosts Monaco fell to a 0-1 defeat against Nice while Marseille, who have since appointed Italian legend Gennaro Gattuso as their new head coach, succumbed to a 4-0 loss against PSG.

Monaco sit in 4th place on 11 points and are just two points behind current table toppers Brest.

Marseille on the other hand are in 8th position on 9 points.

Both teams have recorded two wins each and drawn the other game in the last five meetings between the two sides but Monaco might have the upper hand owing to their impressive start to the season.

Real Sociedad vs Athletic Bilbao – Saturday, 7:30pm

Only two points separate Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao in the La Liga standings as the two sides prepare to face each other on Saturday night on the back of different fortunes during the midweek matches.

While Sociedad beat a ten-man Valencia 1-0, Bilbao, who also had a man sent off, were held to a 2-2 draw against Getafe.

It is Bilbao who however have a higher position on the league table as they sit in fourth spot on 14 points compares to Sociedad’s sixth place on 12 points.
