Days after winning the SportPesa Midweek Jackpot, Seth Mokua maintains that the money will not change who he is.

The teacher from Nyamira County correctly predicted all 13 games to walk away with a mouthwatering KSHs 24,665,485.

Mokua became the third winner of the progressive SportPesa Midweek Jackpot this year, after Jackson Mutiso and Stephen Ojwang’.

“I have been lucky recently and in as much as I am extremely happy to win the jackpot, I am not too surprised.

“It is something that I invest my time into, and I was confident in my bet slip. Now that I have won, my life will change but I will not,” the school teacher explained.

Prior to this enviable victory, Mokua had won KSHs 68,000 a fortnight ago as well as scooping a hearty bonus after predicting 10 games in the jackpot.

The ardent football fan was calmly watching his team Shabana FC taking on Talanta FC in a Kenya Premier League match when SportPesa went to pick him up.

Mokua was ferried in a convoy headlined by a luxurious Range Rover limousine, brightening his mood after his side left it late to secure a 1-1 draw.

“I encourage people to bet responsibly. One should never play with funds that have other use but instead play for fun during their free time.

“This money will really change mine and my family’s life and I am very grateful to SportPesa for being transparent and reliable,” Mokua explained.

He was presented with his winners cheque during his unveiling on Saturday at the SportPesa Arena in Murang’a.

This was done as Murang’a Seal beat Kakamega Homeboyz 1-0 to record a second successive win in their debut season in the Kenya Premier League.

The SportPesa Midweek Jackpot reset to KSHs 10,000,000 and they offer the best bonuses in town from 10 correct predictions.
